spring in my step

Picture
The weather has been relatively glorious in London, as of late. As I am writing this post it is 22 degrees outside and I could not be happier! It's as though Spring has finally sprung... so close to Summer. ANYWAY:

Firstly, the off the shoulder shirt/blouse is something I'm really vibing for this time of year. I love floaty sleeves paired with an off the shoulder look. This particular shirt is from Nasty Gal and I'll try and link one as similar as possible.

Secondly, the jeans. As you all know I have a real thing for vintage denim. Nothing ever feels quite as good or looks quite as good as a pair of old 501's, but I have to say, this pair of pale-wash, high-waisted Lee Coopers (borrowed from a pal of mine) are really starting to steal my heart. The slightly more tapered leg paired with the uber high waist is very flattering (and super comfortable) and what's brilliant about Lee Coopers is that they have far more space on the thigh than vintage Levi's, so I would definitely recommend them if you find a pair in a charity shop or thrift store - snap them up if you can!

Finally, I've been absolutely obsessed with these Saucony Jazz trainers that are a recent addition to my wardrobe. I first saw the jazz on the fabulous blogger En Brogue in a delightful yellow and blue colour-way (which I was never able to find online, sob) and then managed to find this super vivid orange and purple pair on Depop for an absolute fraction of the price (a tenner, A TENNER to be exact). I would really recommend depop and/or ebay if you're interested in grabbing a pair of Saucony jazz originals for a much lower price, and in rarer colours (this colour-way is also unfortunately unavailable but I shall link you guys to the official website if you want to have a browse at some of the current styles). They are honestly some of the most comfortable trainers I have ever owned. I know they're extremely loud to look at, but why not have some fun for Spring in some more unique shoes, eh?!
Top - Nasty Gal
Jeans - Lee Cooper Vintage (link to some similar styles here)
Trainers - Saucony Originals 'Jazz'
Sunglasses - Rayban
