16/4/2017 0 Comments Casual Spring Lookbook 2017It's that time of year again - the rain is falling, but the sun is starting to shine and the flowers are out in all their glory. Spring is finally here! And what better way to kick it off than with a mini Spring lookbook? 1.Denim Jacket - Vintage / Jumper - Boden / Trousers - &OtherStories (similar here) / Ankle Boots - Russell & Bromley (similar here) A super relaxed but still somewhat put together look for a casual day out. I'm completely head over heels for this jumper from Boden - it's got a great, Parisian quality to it and is a great thickness for the intermittent weather. 2.Leather Jacket - All Saints (Wyatt) (similar here) / Shirt - Vintage via Friday on my Mind / Jeans - Topshop / Shoes - Underground (double sole creepers) I love a good printed shirt in the Springtime, and this vintage striped number from FOMM vintage is a great one for the lighter weather. It sort of reminds me of a bowling shirt, which can be a little bit brash, but when paired with straight leg jeans and a pair of creepers, it's a great print for a casual Sunday brunch. 3.Jacket - Brooks Brothers / Shirt - M&S / Jeans - Topshop / Trainers - Adidas Superstars I'm still loving the on-trend frills, and this beautiful baby-blue shirt from M&S is perfect for spring weather. Paired with some destroyed mom jeans, a suede jacket and some adidas superstars, it's a perfect outfit for those Spring strolls. 4.Leather Jacket - All Saints (similar here) / Roll-neck Body - Wolford / Trousers - Whistles / Shoes - Underground (single sole creepers) / Bag - Furla For something a little bit grungier (cos let's face it, grunge is always my go-to vibe), I went for my classic roll neck and leather jacket combo, but this time, to make it a bit more Spring appropriate, I paired it with these great khaki's from Whistles. Super lightweight and a great colour for the blossoming weather. 5.Leather Jacket - All Saints (Wyatt) (similar here) / Top - Uniqlo (Mens) / Jeans - &OtherStories (similar here) / Mules - Topshop Back to Paris with this outfit (although these photos where shot in Little Venice), a pair of classic wide leg flares with a Breton top and leather jacket will forever be timeless in the Spring time. To keep the look a little bit more updated, I added these berry coloured suede mules from Topshop. The warmer weather is a great excuse to whip out these beautiful, and on trend, shoes. 6.Pink Leather Jacket - Zara (SS16) / Top - Glamorous via Topshop / Jeans - Asos / Boots - Topshop (similar here) / Bag - Coccinelle For a slightly more out there look in terms of colour, I paired this lightweight crochet top and vintage inspired kick flares with a pink leather jacket and silver boots. Very retro, and great for those days when the sun is shining. 7.Cropped jumper - Topshop (old) (similar here) / Denim Jacket - Whistles (similar here) / Trousers - Zara (similar here) / Shoes - Topshop (similar here) As you all know, I'm a bit obsessed with my leather jackets. But I find that a dark denim jacket is a great alternative to leather in springtime as its lighter but just as easy to style. Another piece I'm really enjoying as an alternative for jeans is a pair of navy trousers, and this pair from Zara, with a paper-bag waist and ring-pull feature, are not only comfortable, but also surprisingly flattering. Happy Spring styling! x
