The weather has massively warmed up over the last week, and this was the perfect excuse for me to whip out my favourite piece from the Summer, this vintage Laura Ashley skirt.
I've always struggled with skirts - having been quite the tomboy at primary school and then always thinking that my being short was a hindrance. However, over the last year or so, I have been so into midi length skirts, I think they are a beautifully flattering style and such a versatile addition. Enter this beautiful vintage Laura Ashley skirt that used to belong to my mum - a beautiful floral pattern, and the length and fit is perfect for casual days out, as well as for Summer evenings. And it was the perfect skirt to wear on a day out with my mum, paired with a relaxed navy blue knit, some gold jewellery and a pair of all-white trainers - brilliant for a sunny, breezy Autumn day.
